The three day expo held under the theme ‘Using information, value chains and promotion of standards for export competitiveness’ is intended to help small and medium scale entrepreneurs and promote high quality products on the East African and international markets.
Expected to participate in the event are various government bodies including Uganda National Bureau of Standards [UNBS], Uganda Revenue Authority [URA], Uganda Investments Authority [UIA], Kampala Capital City Authority [KCCA] and Uganda Registration Services Bureau among others.
The Private sector Foundation Uganda [PSFU] has invited the business community, Women groups, Youth groups and interested individuals to come and attend.
The Ugandan trade minister Hon. Amelia Kyambadde is expected to hold an open interactive session with the traders at the expo.
