The Africa Internet Group (AIG) has announced it will launch its online hotel booking site Jovago.com officially in August. AIG is the parent company to online sites like Hellofood, Jumia, Lamudi, to mention but a few.
Jovago began operations in Uganda in late June but will officially launch before participating in the Rwanda International Tourism Fair in Kigali from August 14th to August 16th 2015.
The site has changed the hotel booking experience in Africa, allowing users to compare prices and facilities of an establishment quickly and in a secure manner. It is active in over 40 countries, with over 25,000 hotels listed on the continent.
