Following the appointment of Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture, as the next President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Cristina Duarte has come out to congratulate him. Ms Duarte who is the Minister of Finances and Planning of the Republic of Cabo Verde was among finalists for the position.
