Uganda’s CEOs and Communications professionals are set to benefit from a 5 day special training on crisis management and reputation. Organized by Public Relations Agency Brainchild Burson Marsteller, the training is set for between the 15th and 19th June 2015. It aims at equipping corporate leaders with skills to communicate effectively during crisis situations, given the changing communications and media landscapes across the world.
According to Brainchild Burson Marsteller’s Managing Director Caleb Owino, not all CEOs are good communicators. Often, corporate leaders find it easier to handle the good times and are never really prepared for disaster.
“Brand equity built over years can easily die in a day. Accidents happen, people die, companies get dragged to court and so on. All these are occurrences that could affect stakeholder confidence in a brand. We have therefore designed this training program because we believe CEOs and senior managers need to be better equipped to handle critically important areas of communications,
