The International Institute of Certified Forensics and Investigation Professionals (IICFIP) has entered into a partnership with Infotesters Limited to establish a certified training centre in Uganda.

Infotesters Limited is a full service professional private investigations and risk management firm that provides comprehensive investigation and intelligence solutions to various cadres of clients. Infotesters is part of the wider network of investigation firms in the East African Community region. The group is also associated with in-house lawyers to offer relevant support services to its clients.

IICFIP, according to Sosthenes Bichang’a, the Institute’s Global President, “is the world’s unique and premier professional membership organization that brings together, not only, forensic investigators but also provides forensic investigation skills training to all that are interested in the forensic investigation profession.”

It is an institute that caters for networking of all investigation professionals like internal investigations, fraud audits, practising CPAs, CCAs, CAs, ACCA corporate security, criminal investigations, forensic accounting practice, computer and digital forensics, and forensic investigators.

“IICFIP has certified professionals working in both public and private organizations, including mainstream government offices in 178 countries,” Bichang’a says.

The partnership will see Infotesters Limited offer training, leading to accredited membership with the IICFIP.

IICFIP has been instrumental in Africa in training professionals to combat issues relating to cybercrime and fraud. Key among IICFIP’s role has been to provide affordable training or facilities in fraud & forensic investigations.

IICFIP members in the various parts of the globe are well equipped to carry out effective forensic investigations in business organizations, governments and other situations requiring forensic investigation skills. IICFIP has a good network of members, accredited training centres, and affiliates around the world. All these works and cooperate as a team in the promotion of excellence in forensic investigation skills globally.

According to a statement released by Infotesters, the partnership brings closer, services, that were previously obtainable in Nairobi, Kenya.

“One does not need to travel to Kenya to complete the course anymore. Infotesters Limited has established a streamlined application procedure.
