Billionaire Businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has today presented his credentials to Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Nepal to Uganda. This follows the appointment, last month of the businessman as an honorary consul by H.E Bidhya Devi Bhandari, the Nepalese president last month. A consul is an official representative of the government of one state in the territory of another state often for the purposes of fostering the commercial affairs of its citizens in that foreign country and performing such routine functions as issuing visas and renewing passports.
