Flavia Eleanor Kasenge is a business executive with plus a decade years experience in both the telecom and Fintech sectors. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at EzeeMoney Ltd one of the leading fintechs in Uganda.
Flavia’s fintech journey spans over 15 years rising from a revenue analyst at MTN to more progressive roles including finance, revenue assurance, and customer retention. This exposed her to currency channels previously reserved for the more elite. She began to appreciate the ease with which fintech services had created working mediums for electronic transactions. She wields immense skills in finance, revenue assurance, and customer retention.
As a member of the founding teams of both MTN Mobile Money and EzeeMoney Ltd, she has been able to develop and implement best-in-class financial principles with her expertise in product pricing and market intelligence proven over a track record which is key and transferable to any fintech in both start-up and growth phases.
EzeeMoney Ltd as a technology company dealing in both financial and non-financial services pioneered the use of terminals, substituting previous phone transactions with more reliable points of sale options. It has been at the forefront of creating awareness and training point-of-sale operators to better utilize fintech services. On the financial side, it recruits agents who buy a point-of-sale with content that enables them to sell services such as airtime, bill payments, bill collections, agency banking, and mobile money. Agents sell those services for a commission charged to the customer.
The non-financial services arm of the business tracks business information in real-time for businesses.
As part of the executive management team at Mzee Money Ltd, Flavia offers insights and advice on business strategy aiding the best decisions. She has also developed and engaged in building and managing key strategic partnerships with the over 40 business partners with whom EzeeMoney Ltd operates.
