URA Hands over Motor Vehicle Registration Function to Ministry of Works & Transport

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has today handed over to Ministry of Works and Transport the mandate to register and licence motor vehicles in the country.
The tax authority in statement says: "Following the Government decision to transfer the administration and management of the Motor Vehicle Registration function from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) to the Ministry of Works and Transport (MoWT)
