The winners in various categories are carefully selected through a competitive and thorough process involving a public vote and a panel of judges. PSA seeks to encourage organizations and individuals to go beyond the call of duty in their service to humanity. PSA awards don’t only consider companies’ excellence in the industry but also contemplates the service delivery processes involved and how organizations make special efforts for the benefit of humankind. It also aims at endorsing the best industry leadership ethics and practices.

The awards are based on the Performance Index (OPI) where processes and systems are scrutinized and benchmarked against globally acceptable standards. Talking about the award, Mathias Kamugasho, the CEO Service Cops said: “For us, this recognition beyond Ugandan borders creates a renewed motivation to continue innovating. It means our innovations are creating impact.”

For the new year, Kamugasho added that new innovations are in the pipeline focusing on improving value for their existing products.

“As we enter the new year, we have quite a number of innovations in the Digital financial services space that we hope to bring to market before year end. Our innovations this year shall also focus on improving value for our existing products through additional/value added services.”
