S-Wallet is revolutionizing the way pocket money is managed through a smart, secure, and digital-first approach. What started as a simple digital pocket money solution is now powering a new lifestyle for students, one that prioritizes convenience, safety, and digital inclusion.
At the core of S-Wallet is a parent-to-student smart card system that enables parents and guardians to instantly top up pocket money from anywhere using MTN MoMo or Airtel Money. With just a few simple steps, funds are transferred directly to a student’s S-Wallet card, allowing them to make cashless transactions within the school environment—eliminating the risks of cash handling and promoting financial responsibility among young learners.
To build excitement and adoption, the S-Wallet team launched a campaign dubbed “Win Big with S-Wallet,” aimed at rewarding students who frequently use their smart cards for school transactions. As part of the campaign, 45 lucky winners from different regions will walk away with pocket money prizes that will cover an entire school term.
The campaign has reached schools including Masaka Secondary School, St. Joseph Secondary School, St. Timothy Girls School, St. Kizito Secondary School in Kampala, Kawempe Muslim, and Buloba Royal College, with students embracing the new tech. Each visit has not only demonstrated the ease and benefits of using S-Wallet but has also sparked discussions about digital inclusion and financial literacy within the education sector.
