Q&A: How Guardian Health has with Ascent Capital’s help emerged out of Covid-19 a market leader and is gunning for 30 stores in 15 districts Ssendiwala Cedric David is the Guardian Health Limited General Manager. A licensed pharmacist who graduated from Mbarara University of Science & Technology in 2017, he October 2017 started at the Guardian Health’s Kisementi Branch as a Pharmacist. At the time, the 23-year old Cedric, was also working as an Intern Pharmacist at Mulago National Referral Hospital. In January 2018 Cedric was promoted to Branch Manager at the Kisementi Branch and shortly after, in November of that year, he became the Regional Manager/ Business Development Manager. After a sterling performance, in March 2020, at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in Uganda, and 10 days to his 26th birthday, he was appointed General Manager.
