OPINION⎮ The warmth and friendliness of Ugandan people⏤ an untapped tourism asset, and the role of tourism in creating holistic peace Speaking at a recent Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities-organised panel discussion on tourism and peace, H.E Mr Jan Sadek, the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Uganda reiterated that one of the most untapped tourism assets in Uganda was its people⏤ their character, hospitality, demeanour, kindness, welcoming attitude and engagement person-to-person. "It is an asset that has not been gazetted, but I tell you, broadly appreciated by all who visit Uganda," he said.
