With the end of year festive season drawing near, pregnant women and some categories of people will not access alcohol after Nile breweries limited cautioned bar owners and other retailers against selling alcohol to such people. This comes as the brewer intensified its Retail Alcohol Programme, which has seen some beer consumption rules changed at the bars.

In a communiqué to all the Nile Breweries agents countrywide, the corporate Affairs director Onapito Ekomoloit said: “We believe our products add enjoyment to the overwhelming majority of consumers, but it should be consumed responsibly. Reducing alcohol abuse is the number one priority among our sustainable development priorities.
