Joel Katabazi has been appointed as the Chief Creative Officer of Liveworks Inc. Ltd, a talented team of innovators that make imagination a reality by making design viable for every business by providing one-stop design solution.
The appointment of Katabazi takes effect from February 1, 2022.

Katabazi has over 10 years in marketing communications, social marketing for public health, and strategic community engagement. He has a hands-on approach to work and is a family man.
He has a reputation as a creative strategist, but his roots in the advertising industry run deeper, having spent years in the agency world working at Scanad Uganda, MetropolitanRepublic Uganda, Fireworks advertising and ZK Advertising.
He also served as a Senior Commercial Analyst in the Gaming industry and Country Network Manager for the FLY Ug project, a popular anti-tobacco teen community.
With the addition of a new Chief Creative Officer, Liveworks is taking a bold step to build capacity that will enable the company to deliver great work and adapt to the growing demands of an ever-changing marketing landscape.
Katabazi has served a diverse clientele across Africa for ten years, creating impactful campaigns with some of the best creatives across the continent. He has worked with brands like MTN Uganda, Rwanda and South Sudan, Vodafone Uganda, Airtel Uganda, Sanlam, Zain, TOYOTA, AAR, GOOD BUSINESS. Uganda Waragi, UHMG, PEPSI, Mountain Dew, dfcu Bank, Lafarge – Hima Cement, Diageo – Uganda Breweries Limited, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, MOJA GAMES and Basco Paints.
Katabazi is founder and Creative Lead at Koctail Koncepts, a boutique creative agency that works with multitalented professionals to create effective marketing campaigns for local brands & companies using local human insights for a ‘glocal community’.
