Kenneth Kisambira, previously the Head, of Corporate & Commercial Banking at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Uganda, has been promoted to Executive Director- Business.

He also joins the Bank board.

Kenneth has over 15 years of banking experience spanning corporate & commercial credit, accounting & finance, trade finance & structuring, business strategy execution and implementation, corporate governance and team leadership.

UBA Uganda Board of Directors Chairman, Mr. Mustapha Kigozi Ssebagala inducts Kenneth Kisambira into the board.

Before joining UBA, Kenneth spent 8 years at I&M Bank Uganda rising to become, Head, of Corporate Banking. Here he was charged with providing leadership, driving and implementing the business development strategy for the corporate, commercial, public sector and financial institutions.

Before I&M Bank, he worked at Standard Chartered as a Relationship Manager for Large Local Corporates and at Absa Bank Uganda, as a Relationship Manager, for Corporate Banking. 

He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi, majoring in Accounting and Finance.
