The government has been urged to boost online learning to ensure that children continue their routine studies despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic or other unforeseen challenges that could occur in future. Presently, the majority of public schools in Uganda lack internet facilities and as a result, many pupils cannot access online learning after all schools were closed in a Presidential directive meant to curb coronavirus infections.
