Jane Karuku, East Africa Breweries Limited Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

East Africa Breweries Limited Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Jane Karuku has been appointed to the Board of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).

Taking to the LinkedIn page, EABL said: “We are proud to announce that Jane Karuku our Group MD & CEO, has been appointed to the Board of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).

As one of the region’s most respected business leaders, she brings decades of experience and a deep commitment to inclusive, sustainable growth. We look forward to the ideas, partnerships and progress that will emerge from this important appointment.”

KEPSA is the private sector apex and umbrella body set up in 2003, to bring together business community in a single voice to engage and influence public policy for an enabling business environment.

Jane assumed the role of EABL MD and CEO from 2021. Before that, she was Managing Director Kenya Breweries Limited, a position she has held since 2015 until Mark Ocitti took over in 2023.

She has also served as a non-executive director at EABL from 2014 to 2015, at Barclay’s Bank Kenya from 2003 to 2014, President Alliance for a Green Revolution In Africa, Deputy Chief Executive and Secretary General Telkom Kenya and Managing Director Cadbury Schweppes

Jane went to the University of Nairobi where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology, Food Technology and Processing and holds an MBA in Marketing, Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services form the National University California
