Uganda remains a safe and secure country to tour despite the fatal attack on two tourists and a local tour guide in Queen Elizabeth National Park by unknown individuals, the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has said. In a statement, UTB’s Chief Executive Officer,Lilly Ajarova, said the October 16 incident does not reflect the overall safety standards of Uganda’s tourism destination sites and was an isolated incident.
