The uptake of space in Uganda’s Real Estate sector does not necessarily remain low because of a tough economy but because investors build speculatively. High net worth individuals with money choose to invest in property without doing proper research or investigating the market to determine the right projects to put their money in.

This is according to Knight Frank Uganda Managing Director Judy Rugasira who said, “It is not always that the market is doing badly. It is not always doom and gloom in this industry. Professionalism is required in any industry and I believe investors should do more research before putting their money in Real Estate projects. Having money is one thing. Investing it properly is another.
