Players in the tourism and travel industry have been advised to embrace new technology in order to boost their businesses and further develop the industry in the country.

Speaking at the 5th edition of the quarterly Vodafone Power Talks held at the Kampala Serena Hotel this morning, Derrick Sebbaale, the Chief Technical Officer of the 4G LTE service provider said, “Uganda is fast becoming a leading tourism attraction globally and therefore SMEs in this sector will have to be more innovative and in tune with the current trends in order to benefit from the industry and better manage the challenges that come with such growth.
