Vodafone Uganda has announced that it will hold its premier Information and Communication Technology (ICT) empowerment forum dubbed ‘Vodafone PowerTalks’ in Kampala, on Friday April 24, 2015.
Vodafone PowerTalks is an initiative by Vodafone Uganda aimed at bringing together key players in the ICT ecosystem to share knowledge and experiences on the transformative power of ICT.
Announcing the first in a series of events today, Vodafone Uganda’s new Chief Executive Officer, Allan Richardson said the forum would redefine the way owners of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda view and interact with the internet.
“This is a deliberate effort to create a more internet ‘literate’ Uganda by proactively engaging, challenging, educating entrepreneurs on the transformative power of the internet as well differentiating our offering. Vodafone is passionate about people and what technology can do for them. As such this forum is critical to engage and learn about best practices in ICT and how these can be leveraged to empower businesses in becoming more efficient, effective and globally competitive,
