Joyeuse Uwitonze is the Managing Partner of Uphill health Limited and Unfiltered pathways limited. Uphill health offers healthcare consulting services that are as wide ranging as the health care field itself and unfiltered pathways provides human resources outsourcing and business consulting services.

Joyeuse has had a career spanning into 11 years with 8 years in the healthcare industry where she worked as the head of human resources, Head of operations (Admin & HR) and as a healthcare project manager. All these roles have involved leadership at executive level, strategy formulation & implementation, supervision, team collaboration and a lot of problem solving in strive to improve care quality and enhance patient experience.
Joyeuse has a solid record in supporting hospitals/medical facilities and their employees in optimizing operations and reducing costs, starting projects and finishing all within budget and schedule and building relationships that sustain business. She is acquainted with Uganda’s healthcare systems, the services, the human resources required to deliver, facilities management and the technologies used.

She recognizes the uniqueness of the healthcare industry and the fact that providers are facing unprecedented changes. With her passion for this industry, she partners with a team of experts that combine expertise and experience to that serve as unbiased advisors, relentless advocates for quality processes, and project implementers to healthcare startups and trusted partners for healthcare transformation.
Day in, day out, Joyeuse juggles a whole range of spinning plates, constantly trying to make sure one doesn’t drop. Whilst at the same time, doing her best to support the world’s most important asset – Your Health worker!!
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, a Master’s degree in business administration and a professional certification from SHRM (SHRM-SCP) from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda Management Institute and Society of Human Resource Management – USA respectively.
