Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has come out to clarify that oxygen gas cylinders are tax exempt as the country continues to grapple with limited supply of the cylinders. There has been a deficit of oxygen gas in the country, something that has led to different narratives on media platforms with many suggesting that the deficit is arising out of high taxes charged on importing the gas cylinders.
