President Yoweri Museveni cuts a ribbon to officially launch the new Mukono North substation on Monday
President Yoweri Museveni has launched a new multi-billion Mukono North power transmission substation in Mbalala, near Kampala, which is expected to provide reliable power supply to more than 75 factories in the Mukono Industrial Zone.
The substation is currently employing an estimated 62,000 people.
