Roundbob.com, a Ugandan technology start-up developed to ease travel within and outside the country has been picked to demonstrate at the DEMO Africa Conference in Lagos Nigeria. The conference aims at connecting African startups to the global ecosystem giving them a platform to launch their products and announce to Africa and the world what they have developed. The event will take place on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th of September 2015.

Roundbob.com was developed as a demand oriented business aimed at making both domestic and cross border travel more accessible to Africans and Ugandans. According to the Company’s Director David Gonahasa, people want to travel but have no money or lack information on places to visit.

“With full cognizance of the savings challenges of most African people, we have created a novel travel wallet. This allows users to put funds aside specifically for travel. A user will make deposits through the bank, over a period of time, which can then be used to pay for air tickets, hotels or packages. Through numerous partners, the company makes available destination content on its online platform in the form of packages, access to flights from anywhere to anywhere and over 200,000 hotels globally,
