U.S President Donald Trump

Uganda, Kenya and Nigeria are among the few African countries that will not face the consequences of a proposed travel ban by U.S President Donald Trump, which if implemented, will affect 43 countries across the globe.

A leaked memo from the White House published by the Reuters news agency shows, the Trump administration is considering issuing sweeping travel restrictions for the citizens of dozens of countries as part of a new ban.

However, it is not clear if Uganda is likely to be spared after a U.S official told Reuters that, “there could be changes on the list and that it was yet to be [fully] approved by the administration.”
