Total Uganda, one of the biggest integrated oil and gas company in the country, has added individual consumers to its cashless payment system that uses debit cards.
Over the past two decades, Total has offered the business segment a ‘Total Card,’ which has served its corporate, government and SME customers. The oil and gas giants say the smartcard served well in controlling expenses and facilitating fleet management, with over 11,000 cards in circulation.
Seeing the very good fruits of this all, and amid increased competition in the local oil and gas sector, Total Uganda has decided it is time to bring on board individual customers to experience the cashless system of payments that comes with much more advantage to the client.
The new Total Card for individual consumers, Total says, comes in its effort to increase convenience at all its 128 services stations countrywide and empower motorists to manage their spend better.
