In this February 2020 photo, Edward Walugembe, rewards Namibia’s driver of the year, in the Vivo Energy’s Drivers Recognition Awards. The awards are an annual event held with the objective of inspiring the drivers of haulage trucks that transport petroleum products for Vivo Energy Namibia, to better road safety behaviour and compliance. Since Walugembe, arrived in Namibia is June 2017 as the Supply and Marketing Manager, growing into the Country Manager in October 2019, he has been one of the driving forces behind consolidating the business’ market leadership and accelerated lubricants growth.
