The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has appealed against the dismissal of a case in which it was seeking to recover more than Shs21 billion from contractor, Dott Services Limited. In a media statement, the national roads authority states that the case against Dott Services Limited and Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) was wrongly decided by the court. Court has dismissed a case in which road construction firm, Valley Technical Services had sought for orders to overturn decisions of the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) in awarding a number of road upgrade contracts in March 2018.
