President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Justice Flavian Zeija as the new Chief Justice of the Republic of Uganda, elevating a seasoned jurist, academic and administrator to the country’s highest judicial office as outgoing Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo prepares for retirement.
