Patrick Ssekidde is a Senior Specialist- Economics/Statistics with the Office of the Auditor General, which is the Supreme Audit Institution of Uganda charged with promoting good governance, transparency and effective accountability in the management and use of public resources.  As an Economist, his role involves contributing towards the improvement of Public Financial Management systems within Uganda and the African region specifically the AFROSAI-E community by using economic research, social science methods, statistical analysis, audit approaches, management experience, and other relevant skills, knowledge and experience to improve public service delivery.
