Going by the 2019 performance, and if Prudential keeps most of IAA Healthcare’s book- the deal will give Prudential, access to IAA Healthcare’s premiums in the region of UGX30 billion. The combined business would be at an estimated UGX65 billion-plus, making Prudential the No.1 player in the life insurance space.
