Kampala Flyover Project

Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), through its contractor Shimizu—Konoike JV, has embarked on more deep excavations to pave way for the 2nd part of the Nsambya Underpass now under construction. The Contractor has also started planting steel screw piles into the ground that will hold/support the Flyover structure. The main project objective is to mitigate traffic congestion within the Greater Kampala and end the flooding challenges in the City, especially around the Queen’s way whenever there’s a heavy downpour.
