Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) by French companies in Uganda reached USD1.6 billion in 2023, representing more than 50% of Uganda’s FDI inflows, a study commissioned by the French Foreign Trade Advisors in Uganda (CCEF) and the Economic Department of the Embassy of France, has revealed.  This makes France, Uganda’s single biggest source of foreign investment in 2023.
