The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) has announced the winners of the award of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA) scholarships for students who applied in September 2021. Under the third cohort, only 10 beneficiaries were selected out of 206 applicants. Female candidates once again outshine their male counterparts in the CPA examinations. This is the second time this year that female candidates are performing better in the Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA-U) qualification. Out of the 2,371 candidates who passed their papers 1,249 (52.7%) were female and 1,122 (47.3%) male.
