A UGX100 million Merry Christmas for the Triplets Ghetto Kids from Crown Beverages

Non-alcoholic beverage makers, Crown Beverages Limited (CBL) has raised UGX100 million for the Triplets Ghetto Kids, a children’s NGO based in Kampala. This was during their December 21, 2023, thanksgiving ceremony for yet another good business year, held at the Kampala Serena Hotel in Kampala, Uganda. The ceremony was presided over by the Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, with Right Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament as Chief Guest. BIG GROUP WITH A BIG HEART: Ruparelia Foundation creates early Christmas for 5,000 disadvantaged children

Christmas is usually a time for making merry and celebrations, but not everyone can quite afford the celebration, especially the children in orphanages and childcare centres. To take the joy of Christmas to these advantaged children, the Ruparelia Group, through its charity arm, the Ruparelia Foundation annually arranges Christmas parties for disadvantaged children all over Uganda. However, this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Group decided to donate 5,000 Christmas hampers to various orphanages- that among others, include Eseza Foundation, Islamic Foundation and Angel Center.
