Airtel Uganda 10th Anniversary

Airtel Uganda, has today kicked of a celebration of its 10 years anniversary in Uganda- a feat the company has dubbed “10 years of transforming and enriching the lives of Ugandans.” Airtel opened its doors in Uganda on June 8, 2010, promising an “endless world of possibilities and transformation through leadership in innovation, investment, financial and digital inclusion.” This followed the acquisition, by India’s Bharti Airtel of what was then known as Zain Africa, for USD10.7 billion.  Zain was in 15 African countries including Uganda.
