On 24th October 2019, Smile Uganda introduced a new mobile internet service dubbed “TRUEUnlimited 4G LTE” with NO Data Limit.
According to Mohammed Badar, Smile Uganda’s Country Manager “Smile created TRUEUnlimited to enable customers to enjoy all the internet has to offer, without any limit on data usage. This is another first Smile brings to the people of Uganda!”
“With access to unlimited online information, education and entertainment our customers will experience true internet freedom”, says Badar.
“Smile was the first service provider to bring Unlimited to the market and our new TRUEUnlimited service is the first service where there is NO limit placed on data usage. We do hope that our customers enjoy the abundance of SuperFast internet that is on offer, only from Smile,” Badar concluded.
The users of the NEW TRUEUnlimited will internet access the service at a cost of UGX279.000 with No Data Limit, enjoy data speed up to 3Mbps with a valid service for 30 days.
In June 2013, Smile Uganda launched its SuperFast 4G LTE mobile broadband services in Entebbe and Kampala, revolutionising the way people access the internet in Uganda. They have since expanded their network coverage and services to Wakiso, Mukono, Mbarara, Masaka, Masindi, FortPortal, Kabale, Gulu, Lira, Soroti, Mbale, Jinja and Tororo.
