Crown Beverages Limited on Tuesday unveiled a new single-serve bottle for its flagship brand, Pepsi.
A visual expression of Pepsi’s Excitement of Now positioning, the bottle is rolling out countrywide, starting immediately in 330ml and later 500ml packaging, with full conversion taking a few weeks.
Mr Jeff Ssekandi the Crown Beverages Customer Marketing Manager said the new bottle is part of the company’s ongoing update of marketing and packaging materials for the sodas.
“This new Pepsi bottle is the next milestone in Pepsi’s Live For Now marketing campaign. Our single serve bottles are the most visible and tangible connection point we have with our consumers, and we love how the new bottles express our brands attributes,” he said.
The new Pepsi bottles’ contoured bottom half, bold swirl and elevated profile reflect the brand’s attributes and youthful spirit, capturing the excitement of now for Pepsi consumers. The etched, grip-able bottom allows consumers to have a more stimulating, tactile interaction with the bottle itself.
The bottles will go for a new retail price of Ushs 1,200 (330ml) and Ushs 1,700 (500ml) in all shops and supermarkets countrywide.
