National Medical Stores (NMS), a government entity mandated to procure, store and distribute essential medicines to mainly public health facilities, has been nominated for NITA-U Excellence Awards. NMS+CSSP and NMS, in particular, have been nominated under three Categories in the NITA-U Excellence Awards. NMS + CSSP is an online system for ordering, tracking and monitoring the delivery of all drugs and medical supplies. The system which replaced the paper-based analog system went live starting July 2021.
