MTN Uganda has allayed its data customers’ concerns over the recent degradation in service. These include multiple data bundle buying activation failure, delayed data bundle loading, failed activation, inaccurate data bundle billing and charging of bundles without activation. According to the company CEO Brian Gouldie, this has been as a result of technical problems.
“In June of this year MTN changed its provisioning system which is essentially the technology through which a bundle gets to the customer’s phone. So far 4,800 customers have been affected but we have provided Ushs 8 million in airtime refunds for them. Most importantly is that we are working on rectifying the problem, yes we have some challenges but we are working on them,
