Microsoft has today introduced a new range of phones comprising Lumia 540, Lumia 640XL and the Lumia 430 Dual SIM in Uganda. This is in line with the company’s promise to deliver optimized productivity for smartphone users.
The Lumia 430 Dual SIM is the most affordable of the 3 retailing at Ushs 230,000. It is built with Windows Phone 8.1 software and a dual-core CPU running at 1.2GHz.
Speaking during the unveiling event held at the Kampala Serena hotel this morning, Microsoft East Africa Product Manager said, “The Lumia 430 allows customers to use Microsoft Office and Outlook for work and personal productivity. It has up to 30 GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive for safekeeping important content. In addition, it offers a great experience for video calls with Skype-integrated calling and a front-facing camera bringing essential smartphone experiences to budget-conscious buyers.
