Following the acquisition of Nokia’s device and Services business in April 2014, the Microsoft Corporation is working towards redeeming the phone giant’s regional presence and uptake. To this end the corporation has introduced 3 new lumia phones into the Uganda market. The Lumia 530, Lumia 630 and Lumia 930 which are powered by the company’s new operating system Windows 8.1 have over 200 improved features.

According to King’ori Gitahi the Operative Product and Device Manager at Microsoft, the new smartphones are more personal with new features including Action takes the work out of managing data use, storage space and battery life.
