Just like everything else, Uganda Law Society general elections have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic with the current term of office having ended in April, 2020. The Uganda Law Society is Uganda’s Bar Association established under the Uganda Law Society Act cap 276, laws of Uganda. The elections which were slated for April 2020 were postponed. The Bar Association has since, through a notice signed by Francis Harimwomugasho on 8th July, 2020, called for a virtual annual general meeting on Friday, 7th August, 2020.
