A Kampala Cement bulk transporter on its way to deliver cement to the Karuma 600MW dam that consumed up to 4,400 tonnes of cement per month at the peak of its construction. Such lucrative bulk contracts have enabled Kampala Cement to grow turnover, annually by an average 80% since 2015, closing 2018 with UGX186.6bn in turnover, thus destabilising Tororo and Hima- the big boys.
