With a 50 year old institute , the Uganda Insurance industry could be mistaken to be all that vibrant. However the case is just the opposite of the industry after it remains lagging behind its peers in the EAC region following years of war and a near stagnant economy.
However in a bid to further enhance professionalism in Uganda’s insurance industry, the Insurance Institute of Uganda (IIU) which makes 50 years this year will celebrate its anniversary with the first ever international conference that is scheduled to take place on the last day of the month of February, 2014 at the Resort Munyonyo.
