The Public Accountants Examinations Board (PAEB) of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) has announced an addition of 225 graduates of the Certified Public Accountants of Uganda. The graduates sat for the institute’s June 2016 examinations diet and can now ably serve in both the public and private sectors in Uganda and globally. This brings the total number of professional accountants produced through the ICPAU examinations scheme to 2,507.

Addressing the media at Imperial Royale Hotel in the week ending 8th July 2016, ICPAU CEO Derrick Nkajja said, “The June 2016 examinations diet were conducted under the revised syllabuses for both Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and Accounting Technician Diploma (ATD) Courses. The new syllabuses were revised to ensure relevance to the changing and emerging needs of our economy.
