Embattled Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) chief, Ms Sylvia Muwebwa, will this Friday, 5th February 2021 hand over office as her term came to an end on January 19th 2021. The President, who is the appointing authority has reportedly declined to renew her contract. According to sources at the Commission, Muwebwa, whose term of office has been overshadowed by abuse of office and corruption charges, will briefly show up office to hand over office.
