Ecobank Uganda during the month of January, 2014, opened a new branch in Jinja town, 54kms east of the Capital Kampala at plot 45, Main Street, bringing the bank’s network of branches to 13. Speaking at the opening of the branch, Ecobank Uganda Managing Director, Michael Monari, said: “We are committed to supporting our partners in Jinja take advantage of our vast unrivaled network to drive their businesses forward. With strong SME and Corporate banking businesses across Africa and subsidiary offices in London, Paris, Dubai, Johannesburg and Beijing, we are committed to promote the growth of business in Uganda, and our new Jinja branch is part of this journey.
