The African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW) has announced the appointment of Dr Rashid Mbaziira – a Ugandan national – as its Executive Secretary. The announcement came at the end of an Extra-Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of AMCOW and takes effect from 08 November 2021. A Rhodes Scholar, Dr Mbaziira was admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford, St Catherine’s College, in 2007.
